Meet the Team
Steve Hollar
Certified Arborist / Owner / Operator
Steve found his passion for tree care in 2001, he then enrolled in the Urban Forestry Program at MSTC and graduated in December of 2003. Steve is an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist and a Licensed Pesticide Applicator. Steve does majority of our client’s bids, but when he’s not doing estimates, he’s working right along side of the crew.
Steve and Ashley both grew up in Sherry, WI.
Ashley Hollar
Administrator / Owner
Ashley left her career as an Ultrasonographer to take care of the day to day administrative responsibilities for ArborVantage Tree Care. Ashley has a passion for small businesses, she grew up being a part of two, local, family owned businesses.
Steve and Ashley married in 2010, and have three sons. They enjoy camping, fishing, home projects and time with their family.
Steve and Ashley both grew up in Sherry, WI.
Cole Elwood
Lead Arborist
He joined the ArborVantage Tree Care crew in May of 2016.
For four years, he worked with Steve on the crew every day. He has learned the ins and outs of residential tree care, has become proficient at crane removals and takes great pride in his work.
In 2020, Cole became the Lead Arborist at ArborVantage Tree Care.
Cole enjoys hunting, fishing, and golfing in his spare time.
Gavino Lopez
Arborist
He graduated in 2025 with his Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry from UW-Stevens Point. He enjoys being outdoors, and is excited about learning and obtaining more experience and knowledge in urban forestry.
In Gavino’s spare time, he enjoys hunting and fishing, along with spending time with his family.
Noah Lobner
Groundsman & Bucket Operator
Noah lives in Loyal, WI with is wife and two children. He enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and many other outdoor activities.
Brian Brost
Groundsman
Brian became a part of the ArborVantage Tree Care team in August of 2020. His previous experience as a Forester in central Wisconsin brings value to the teams knowledge.
He also is a Licensed Pesticide Applicator Professional. Brian enjoys being outside, seeing and evaluating the different tree species.
Out side of work Brian enjoys spending time with his family, playing softball, hunting and working on demo cars.
John Hafenbredl
Grapple Truck Operator
He is an important part of our team, making sure each job is left without debris or hazards as well as helping make sure our equipment runs smoothly. John graduated from Auburndale High School, and grew up with experience in the dairy industry as well as agriculture. He has many years of experience driving and maintaining heavy equipment and trucks.
Outside of work John enjoys hunting, fishing, and riding his UTV. He also enjoy’s camping and pontooning with his wife, children, and dogs.
